Bringing Your Best Self to Your Business

Be Your Best Self2

Be Your Best Self2

I recently attended a two day Rosen Method workshop and I couldn’t have asked for a better entrée into winter and the hectic holiday season. Rosen Method is a powerful tool for stress reduction and for reaching the body / mind connection. Spending two days observing and participating (both as a recipient and a giver) brought me to my center and into presence. I left feeling immense gratitude for my teacher, the other participants, the process, and for myself. This is a gift I do not take lightly. I have been longing for a new way to connect with myself and I believe Rosen Method is my answer. I don’t plan to become a body worker, been there, done that, but I am looking forward to spending more time authentically connecting. Learning a new practice is building a new muscle that will support my self-worth, self-esteem, and ability to focus.

I want to live in the here and now more of the time. Remembering to breathe and laugh and cry. I want my consulting work to be more vibrant, authentic, and effective and for my clients to receive exactly what they need because I am reading between the lines of their words and watching their breath, their body, their energy. I know how to do these things, but I forget, lose sight, get wrapped up in the noise of words and focus on the apparent surface, not the underlying depths.

I am very good at what I do because I know a lot of what it takes to build a business and I can help you bring to light what is in your way. Since childhood I have been the asker of deep questions, the observer giving feedback, and had passion for intense and deep connection. I want to rekindle and embrace these parts of myself and not shy away because of a preconceived notion of what might happen. Bringing my best self to my business is a powerful notion and will result in a more satisfying work life for both my clients and me.

Thoughts on how to become and stay present:

1. Remember that the body knows it all, the head only knows what it knows 2. Unlock your body by paying attention to your breath 3. Mediating can be the key 4. Movement may work for you 5. Authentic connection with others can float your boat 6. Using a combination of 3, 4, and 5 would be awesome
